A podcast is an audio file (mp3) that you can listen to via your iPod [by downloading via iTunes] or your computer [you will need a program that plays mp3 files, such as Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, etc]. Most podcasts offer a transcript of the audio file as well--so if you cannot listen to it, you will be able to access the content by reading the transcript. If you subscribe to a podcast, the podcast will automatically be downloaded to your computer when its available (weekly, daily, etc.)
