Dr. Aminzadeh is a statistician with research interests in Predictive Inference,
Statistical Quality Control, Reliability, and Time Series. He received a
B.S. in Statistics (1978) from Pahlavi University, a M.S. in Mathematics (1980)
from California State University and a Ph.D. in Statistics (1985) from Oregon State
University. He joined the Mathematics Department at Towson University in 1988
after his previous position in the Statistics Department at Temple University. (1985-
1988). He has taught a variety of applied probability, stochastic processes, theoretical
and applied statistics courses ranging from the undergraduate to the graduate levels at Towson
University. He served as the Director of the Graduate Program in Applied &
Industrial Mathematics (APIM) at Towson University.
