Asking students to reflect on what—and how—they have learned is a terrific way to help them synthesize their learning and “see the big picture.” It’s also a great way to assess the “fuzzy” goals of our courses and programs: developing creative thinking skills, positive attitudes, a lasting appreciation of our subject, and the like. Learn how your colleagues across the university have used student self-reflection as an effective strategy for learning and assessment. Complimentary beverages and cookies will be provided!
