Towson University J/NM alums find careers throughout news media

       Above is the new New York Times building at the corner of 8th avenue and 40th street in New York City. Alumni of the Journalism & New Media track at Towson University have gone on to jobs at The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, The Annapolis Capital, The Frederick News-Post, The Baltimore City Paper, The Baltimore Examiner and Patuxent Publishing. They work at magazines such as Script, Baltimore Magazine, and Girls Life, as well as news Web sites like baltimoresun.com. Our broadcast journalism alumni now work at WBAL-TV, WJZ-TV, Fox 45, WMAR-TV, MTV, Nickelodeon, and KCFW-TV in Montana, where a recent alum is the sports anchor.
