The Haller Pecan Farm operation

The Haller Pecan Farm orchards are on deep sandy loam soil in northern Hill County, Texas.


Tree shaker, attached to a tractor, is used to shake the pecans to the ground.
After shaking, pecans are picked up from the ground with a mechanical harvester.
Pecans are cleaned, sorted and dried to correct moisture level after harvest.
