ANNUAL MEETINGS

The 11th annual meeting of the Society for Disability Studies will be held June 4-7, 1998 in Oakland, CA. The Call for Papers is now available. The 1999 meeting is planned to take place in or near Washington, DC. More information about these meetings, including meeting programs, will be posted here later.

The program for the 10th Annual Meeting, which was held in Minneapolis, MN on May 22-25, 1997, is available for reference.

The yearly business meeting is held during the conference. Participation by SDS members is encouraged.

The Society makes a positive effort to make its communications and environments accessible to all persons with disabilities. The proceedings of each annual meeting are published as developed abstracts of the presentations given at the annual conference.
