About Me

I teach courses in both Religious Studies and Philosophy. Regular Offerings include: PHIL 353 Philosophy of Religion, RLST 105 Introduction to the Study of Religion, RLST 205 Women in World Religions, RLST 355 Introduction to the New Testament and RLST 357 Topics in Comparative Religion

My area of specialization is the Philosophy of Religion; my current research focuses on topics in epistemology, pragmatism, religious pluralism and the ethics of belief.

I received my B.A. from Wells College and my Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Towson University, I taught at Stanford University and at Valdosta State College. I am also a past president of the Mid-Atlantic American Academy of Religion.
