Recent performances by the TU Symphonic Band:

1. Shadowcatcher by Eric Ewazen, featuring the TU Faculty Brass Quintet, April 16, 2013. The image above, a 1914 photograph by Edward Curtis, was the inspiration for the fourth movement, Dancing to Restore an Eclipsed Moon.

2. College Band Directors National Association Eastern Division conference March 1-3, 2012 at Indiana Univeristy of Pennsylvania. Dr. Marguerite Levin, clarinet, was the featured soloist with the band for the performance of Concerto Scion, a clarinet concerto by Kevin Walczyk (Towson University Bands were part of the consortium that commisioned the work.)

3. TU Symphonic Band performance at the 52nd Eastern Division Biennial In-Service Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, March 31, 2011 which featured the TU Faculty Brass Quintet in James Stephenson's Dodecafecta (Towson University Bands were part of the consortium that commisioned the work.) International euphonium artist Steven Mead also performed with the band.
