Note: Do not take these Terms as Fact. While some words are found in Myth and Religion they are not to be considered as an actual source. Soul Guardian is a Fictional story based within Religion and therefore some words have been "adjusted" while some are based on Christian Belief.

Bridge:
The act of crossing over from one realm to another. Example: Traveling from Earth to Heaven/Hell.

Demon:
{Also known as Fallen Angels} Demon's are creatures that despise mankind and fear the name of God. They struggle throughout their existence in order to find a way to strengthen themselves and tear down Heaven's gate so that they may rule over the universe. There are several classes of Demons and they are ranked by age and power. Many believe that Demons are all disfigured monsters that loom in the pits of hell, but this is only a small number of hell's inhabitants. Many Demons were once Angels that existed in heaven.

First Birth Angels:
{Also known as Angels} When God created the universe, he created helpers to aid him in the interactions with humans and beasts throughout his creation. These angels were the first to be created and their names are legendary; Michael, Gabriel, Azrael, and Shimshiel just to name a few. Their power is beyond belief and are the strongest of all Spiritual creatures, with the exception being God. They exist in Heaven and Hell.

Guardian Angels:
See "Second Birth Angels.

Half-Breed:
{also known has Punished} A Guardian Angel that has learned to think beyond their purpose, choosing to break an Angelic Law for the benefit or misfortune of a human. This act causes the Guardian angel to be changed into a Human with the power and ability of an angel, but without a soul. This is considered punishment because Angels can not comprehend the overwhelming instability of human emotions and senses on Earth. Thus, this generally causes torment to a Guardian Angel. Even in this condition, a Guardian Angel must complete its duties and watch over its assigned Human.

Infection:

Legion{Ascion Legion}:
Little is known about the Ascion Legion, they are demons but they have no interest in destroying heaven or fighting for Satan. They simply exist within the void and seek personal power. It is often rumored that they were Fallen Angels that were once lost within the void and could not find there way out, and over the millions of years that they have existed they eventually evolved into a form that was more fitting of the void. Their speed and power is only as high as a minor demon, which makes them stronger then humans but far weaker then Second Birth Angels.

Neophyte:
A human with the power and knowledge of an angel. Neophytes have existed since the creation of man. When the war over human souls first began and those who opposed God where cast out of Heaven, they began to mate with humans and created offspring. These offspring were born with unearthly abilities/size/strength, and they had clear memories of their spiritual Parent. These Neophytes were shunned and hated by people and are highly sought after by minions of Hell's army. The Sect has been successful in eliminating all of the Neophytes that have been targeted for destruction, since the dawn of man. It should be noted however, that not all Neophytes are targeted by the Sect. Some Neophytes are created by God's will.

Organic PC:
{Also known as OPC or Humanoid (Android) Personal Computers} While human cloning was banned, humanoid creation flourished toward the end of the decade. Technological booms expanded the ability to create Artificial Intelligence that was nearly 80% life like. With the Human Genome fully unlocked and available for exploring, scientist began to give Personal Desktop Computers actual Organic tissue. This allowed these tiny box Computers the ability to expand beyond their prior limitations and Physical restrictions. Also, Organic PCs had the ability to repair themselves in the event of hard drive failures or damage to internal systems. Organic PCs were well balanced between Organic and Mechanical until NASA began research into human-like PCs for the purpose of furthering Space Exploration. Mars Colony 7 Alpha, located on the southern Crest of the Martian Home world, was the first to create a Human without the need of cloning or genetic manipulation. The embryo failed to reach maturity but it was a universal success. After 10 years of further research Organic PCs were born and used extensively for Space Exploration. 20 years later, NASA began to sell the Humanoid Organic PC on the Earth and Mars market to cover their research debt.

Possession:
{consumed by evil} When a human's body is pierced by a Demonic creature of the Spiritual Realm. The human body is very frail and can quickly become enticed by the evil nature of the creature that pierced his/her skin. These possessions are known throughout history as Demonic Possessions, Vampires, Werewolves, and monsters. The only known cure is spiritual cleansing by a priest or holy man. Angles can also cure the infected human, but they are not permitted to do so at any cost, because it is considered a "human dilemma."

Realm:
{Also known as Dimension} There are three realms known to humanity: Earth, Spirit and Heaven. Spirit Realm is the border between Earth and Heaven. Hell is a sub level of Earth, but demons can not interact with humanity because of our Guardian angels. The Earth and Spirit Realms are the battlefields for human souls. The Heaven realm is beyond the reach of Hell but this is also why demons which to destroy it. Currently only very powerful demons can enter the Spirit Realm. There are more Realms then these three, but they have yet to be uncovered by a living person. However, it is known that the Heaven Realm has an infinite amount of sub-levels and sub-realms.

Second Birth Angels:
{Also known as Guardian Angels} These Angels were created shortly after the first war in Heaven, where Satan and his followers attempted to overthrow God. They exist solely to defend and protect humans from spiritual attack but there power is limited. Not nearly as strong as the First Birth Angels, Second Birth Angels are more human like in appearance and build. They also have the ability to "Bridge" between any of the 3 realms. Each individual Angel is created the moment that their human Doppelganger is born, from that moment on the Angel watches over them constantly. When their human dies, the angel becomes a vessel for human transport into the after life; Heaven or Hell.

Sect:
A division of Second Birth Angels that work outside of God's law. They exist solely to handle any and all abnormal instances that occur in the Earth and Spirit Realm. Because of their unique ability to do things beyond God's law, no of the members of the Sect can enter Heaven. Do to this fact the Sect have a leader/representative who has the ability to enter Heaven and speak to God's avatar on their behalf. Mariana (or Maritasophaie), the First of all Second Birth Angels, was given the title as leader/representative of the sect. In general, the members of the sect are no more powerful then any other Guardian Angel, however Mariana's strength is well beyond the power of other Second Birth's do to the fact that she is the first.

Soul:
{Also known as Human Spirit} A vassal for the human consciousness. An energy source for massive amounts of data that can transcend flesh, mind, dimensions, and time. The true purpose of the soul has never been fully understood, but God designed it for several functions. Because of the "human condition" the soul can be used for good or evil, but never both. The soul has also been called the "greatest weapon ever created" and while its true potential has yet to be discovered, many seek to uncover its mystery. Currently the soul is only used to store the memories and consciousness of its human host to the after life.

Void:
{also known as the Spirit Realm} A vast plain of nothingness... a collection area of demons, matter, anti-matter, lost souls, doomed angels. The void is the battle field between Heaven and Hell, good and evil, its chaotic nature is well beyond human understanding as it is a realm where physics and math go beyond infinite measure. This is the realm of the Ascion Legion and they feed off of anything that gets lost in their world. The Void is also an Angelic prison. Creatures with powers beyond that of Guardian Angels have been tossed into the void to wonder aimlessly throughout eternity, knowing that their power cannot free them, and forever struggling for power against the horde of the Ascion Legion. For the sake of "balance" God chose not to banish the fallen angels to the void, it was decided that the human Realm needed good as well as evil and therefore Fallen Angels were banished to Hell, within the Earth Realm..
