UnCover

UnCover, a service of the Colorado Association of Research Libraries (CARL), is an excellent method of locating journal articles written since 1987 (or 1988, depending on the journal). The commands for locating publications by subject, author, or title are essentially the same as those used by the Cook Library On-Line Catalog.

When you first access UnCover, you will be asked to identify your terminal. Unless you know you are on something different, enter 5 for VT100. Then bypass (by hitting the [enter] key) all the options for establishing a Profile Number until you get to the page with directions for conducting your search. Then, just follow the directions on the screen. Remember that if you get lost or stuck, you can always get back to your account by typing //exit and hitting the [enter] key.
