Directions - Download

Following are directions for downloading the HTML Assistant Pro 3 (pro3free.exe) and installing it in Windows 3.x.

Note: if install does not work, may need to download several times.

  1. Click on the pro3free.exe link.

  2. In the "Save As..." window, select the drive | directory you want to save it to.

  3. Open Windows File Manager.

  4. Go to the drive | directory you saved pro3free.exe in.

  5. Click twice on the pro3free.exe file.

  6. Follow the Setup windows to install HTML Assistant.

  7. Note: When prompted to create icons, answer yes

  8. In the "Select Program Manager Group" window, edit the "Group Name" box to read: HTML Assistant

    Otherwise your icons will not be automatically created.
