Comments: (2/05)Between October 25th 2002 and February 12th 2005, this
location was the home of an AMAZING cast and the HUB of underground Phoenix
youth culture. With average attendances of 200-250 per show and frequent theme
shows and special presentations (CANNIBAL THE MUSICAL, HEDWIG, live music), this
was truly a time and place to go down in Phoenix Rocky History...something that
would have happened anyway, as this was the first location that ever showed the
film (in its 1975 FIRST RUN!) and then again with participation circa 1982-86.
The victim of mall redevelopment, by the end of 2005 it will be a 16-screen
corporate-run theatre, and BoB/BB&G is once again on its own.....
Comments: (9/03) Every last saturday of the month, the lingerie and fetish contest
is in the preshow (must be 18+ to participate.)
Comments: (10/02) ROCKY will screen in an enormous 476-auditorium that was recently
equipped with a GIGANTIC wooden stage! This location is a TRUE homecoming for
ROCKY. Not only did this same theatre host ROCKY in the early 1980's, but in the
Fall of 1975, before ROCKY was a midnight movie, THIS was the theatre it screened
at in the Valley as a general release. ROCKY's return there is thus virtually
destiny! The only major change is that pre-show activities and such will begin
by 11pm and not midnight, so that the movie can begin to run at the stroke of
midnight (and the theatre and mall staff can go home and sleep!)--though there
will be slightly different security and smoking procedures as well (details forthcoming!)
All performances will feature live stage cast and full interactive audience participation
ALL AGES WELCOME!

Comments: (3/02) I'm from the Clinton St. Cabaret in Portland, where we recently
made friends with the Psychotic Cabaret. We were very bummed out to find out that
first the Arcata Theater had kicked them out, then shortly after they settled
into the Eureka Theater, they were kicked out too (based solely on the fact that
the previous theater had kicked them out). So they are currently homeless, although
I am hearing a big about the Psychotic Cabaret occasionally playing "Rocky revue"
type shows at HSU in Northern California. look on the recent NW RHPS Newsletter
for more details. But sadly, there currently is not regular Rocky theater in Northern
California!
Comments: (4/01) The cast performs about once every month during the school year
and occasionally during the summer. The cast is brand new, frist performance
on January 19, 2001. Arrive around 11pm for industrial dance, plus a comic pre-show,
contests, strippers, and a live cast in costume.
Comments: (10/99) Theater only shows on or around Halloween. Will be showing on
October 22 and 23, and again the following week on October 29 and 30... Arriving
early is advised, as theatre employees have informed me lines usually extend around
the block, and sells out the 700+ seat theatre every year RHPS has been screened
at the cinema.

Cast: The Bawdy Caste
Comments: (9/00) (taken from cast website) For currently unknown reasons, the
management of the Naz8 Cinemas has decided to not run ROCKY HORROR anymore. This
means that the Bawdy Caste is currently on the hunt for a new theatre to call
home. We are currently meeting with other theatres in the South Bay Area, so be
sure to watch this site for any and all updates. We appreciate all of the support
that we've gotten from all of you and we'll be back on stage as soon as we can!
Comments: (4/00) The Bawdy Caste returns to the Naz 8 (formerly Fremont Hub),
our old home, but under new ownership. We would like to thank Mr. Shiraz Jivani,
for giving us a place to call home again. THis is not Mr. Jivani's first time
doing RHPS either he did it back in 1992 at his first theater, the ABC with Velvet
Darkness. Please check the cast website for acceptable props before coming to
the show.

MALIBU

Cast: The Bawdy Caste and their E-mail
Comments: (7/02) And now the bad news - We've received word that the Park Theatre
will be closing as of July 28. Due to this, we've been asked to have our July
6th show be our final show in this great old theatre. The Bawdy Caste as a whole
is extremely sad to see this happening. We have been very happy at the Park and
have become good friends with the employees of the theatre. We will definately
miss performing there. To read a news article about the closure, including comments
from our Caste leader, check out this page from the San Francisco Examiner's site.
MONTCLAIR
Montclair GCC
When: Friday only
Where: 4955 South Plaza Lane (Monta Vista exit off the 10 Fwy; Turn north, one
block, turn right in to the mall)
Price: $5.00
Cast: The Montclair Playthings
Comments: (8/00) just closed down (8/25/00)
Comments: (8/96) This is a Friday show, so every other cast should make an effort
to see them. This is a small cast - the theater is tiny, no stage, no lighting,
the props are minimal and the costumes are very salvation army. But this cast
tries so damn hard to put on a good show, and it works. They have borrowed a few
techniques from other casts to great advantage. They are also a little more relaxed
about their "roles". They talk back to the audience, shout lines of
their own and play with their characterizations.

Comments: (6/01) BAL THEATRE CLOSES
Bal Theatre Press Release B&D Productions
Press Contact - Brady Ferguson -
JUNE 21, 2001 - SAN LEANDRO, CA. The Bal Theatre reopened its doors on August
25, 2000, and has closed them effective Tuesday, June 19, 2001, amidst a combination
of cash flow problems, mounting bills, and difficulties with the San Leandro Police
Department.
Throughout the ten months that B&D Productions resided at the Bal Theatre,
a wide variety of entertainment options were provided to the community. Recently
released films (typically 2 or 3 months after release) were presented with a very
low ticket price of $3.50, the least expensive movie ticket available in the Bay
Area. Captioned films were exhibited, geared to the deaf and hard of hearing audiences.
Charity Nights were attempted, where a portion of the ticket price was donated
to local charities. Several locally known and nationally recognized performing
groups were featured at the theater, including the San Leandro Community Theatre,
Heather Alexander, Tin Hat Trio, BloxBox, and several others. The Rocky Horror
Picture Show was also a regular feature at the Bal, with as many as 200 in attendance.
After many months of financial problems with the theater, declining patronage,
and police harassment, B&D Productions decided to close the theater. Brady
Ferguson, co-owner, filed bankruptcy last week as a direct result of the financial
failure of the theater.
"I don't recommend San Leandro as a destination for any new small business owner,
especially if you're interested in providing any type of entertainment to the
community," Ferguson says. "City staff and documents may point to small business
growth, however if you aren't bringing hundreds of thousands of dollars in through
sales tax, the support or backing you receive from the city will be limited if
at all."
Ferguson plans to get back in the computer networking field, and Desiree Costa,
co-owner, is already working at a local financial business. They both plan to
continue living in San Leandro, working during the day, and carrying on a "normal"
life out of the public eye.
Comments: (10/00) Theatre owned by Rocky Horror veteran Brady Ferguson, formerly
a director of the infamous Barely Legal. New cast, new faces, new rules (or
lack thereof), with no age limit, makes this the most fabulous show in the Bay
Area. Most audience friendly show anywhere!

WOODLAND HILLS
Woodland Hills GCC
Where: Victory Bl. @ Owensmouth Ave. Woodland Hills
Price: $5.00
Cast Name: The Denton Bunch
Comments: The cast was small, the props minimal and the audience counts dismal.
But several good, memorable performers got their start at this show, and moved
on to become members--and even leaders--of other local southern CA. shows, like
Midnight Insanity and Sins o'The Flesh. The show's regular run was ended on August
10, 1991--with a brief, weekend return that Fall for three Halloween shows--the
last being October 31, 1991. The entire theater was demolished in the Spring
of '92.

Cast Name: Mercy Killings
Comments: (8/00) According to their web site, they are not performing at the Imperial
anymore. However they seem to have made a deal with a theater called 'Medley'.
Comments: We do not do a weekly show unfortunately. We only manage to perform
a couple of times a year. But those couple of times are usually huge shows --
especially since the Imperial seats 1,000. At halloween, we do 4 or 5 shows over
the course of 2 or 3 days and we sell out most of them.

A Second Page
Comments: (2/01) The Rich Weirdos will no longer be playing at The Varsity Theatre.
One of the cast's regular audience members noticed that the theatre had a notice
up that the show on January 26th, 2001 was cancelled. However, none of the cast
had received a phone call, email, or communication from the theatre management
stating this..After speaking to management, Cast Director Robyn Bayles found that
management hadn't even made an effort to contact the cast concerning this. Therefore,
both Robyn and Cast President Kelvin Hoyle decided that, in light of recent advertising
difficulties and now this, The Rich Weirdos are no longer performing at the theatre
effective immediately. The cast is currently on the hunt for another theatre,
and will update as necessary. For up-to-date news, check out The Rich Weirdos'
webpage at www.richweirdos.com .

Comments: (4/02) I looked on the "info" page linked on your Florida
page; according to all the message board chat on there, the Boynton Beach Rocky
apparently vanished around Feburary, and not many people know exactly what happened.
No word on if the cast is gonna try to find a new theater, or even if they're
still together, but from what has been mentioned on these boards and the website,
Boynton Beach now appears to have no Rocky :( (this sucks because I am about to
move to Central FL in 5 weeks)
Comments: (10/01) After four weeks of homelessness, the Carefree Players have
a new theater-- the
fabulous Boynton Cinema (stage, stadium seating) in Boynton Beach, Florida!

Comments: (8/02) After almost 3 years without a regular rocky in Orlando a new

such as wet props or metal confetti. The cost is $5. There is no stage, one
aisle. Theater is tucked away in a small strip mall. There is much interaction
between cast and audience. Cast is loose, funny, improvisational and makes devirginizing
an art form.

Comments: (10/05) TWO SHOWS, ONE NIGHT! 9:30pm and Midnight Friday October 28th
Come again (and again, and again) for a double dose of Frank N. Furter at the
ROCKET HORROR HALLOWEEN BASH All Transylvanians, transvestites, transexuals, groupies,
handy men, domestics, bikers, and muscle men are welcomed. You'll find it quite
pleasurable. Janet needn't know. And since it's Halloween, we'd like to see our
audience dressed up please. I mean, you should get dressed up anyway -- Rocky
Horror isn't your average movie after all -- but we'll be taking pictures for
a special audience member freak gallery on this website during the pre- and post-shows
on the 28th. Be there with bells on (or garters, or fishnets, or whatever suits
your sickness) and be immortalized on RocketHorror.com. We'll also have shows
on November 25 & 26 - these will (most likely) be our final shows until January.
Come and get your Frankie Fix so you can get through the holidays without going
sane. Comments: (9/05) We show RHPS at the Brew & View: Rocket Cinema the
last weekend (Friday and Saturday) of every month. The Brew & View is a movie
theatre with a full-service bar and real food. All props are welcome, with the
exception of rice, which is a bitch to clean up. Check out the cast website for
House Rules, Cast Bios, and Photo Galleries. You'll also find dates for upcoming
shows there.
Comments: (8/05) Devin is the owner and we might move to his new theatre a few
blocks away from his current theatre. We don't have a name and there's only the
4 of us, but we are very determined to get more people. In fact, 2 of our cast
members have been doing this for quite some time. We are all that the Quad Cities
have got right now. Admission is free (except for Halloween when it's only $5)
and the only prop we don't allow is rice due to the possibility of attracting
rodents.

Rocky, at least for a minimum of 12 shows.
Comments: (12/01) The theater says that they are currently still showing RHPS;
the phone number that was listed (504) has a new area code (985), that is why
it was deleted.

Price: $5.50
Cast: The Transylvanian Electric Company (we bring wierd things to life)

Comments: (2/01) The Louisiana (New Orleans) theatre, Movie Pitchers, has been
shut down, but the cast still exists but performs on an irregular basis depending
on what theatre or place wants to host it on any given day. The cast is working
on getting a permanent location, but.....theatre management can be so fussy!
Comments: (11/98) The show is decent some characters need work, costumes are pretty
good, most of them are there, some hand props, not alot of big props, but this
is being worked on. Audience is allowed to bring things to throw, only exclusions
are meat products, LARGE bags of RICE, and Super Soakers (regular water guns are
fine). The theatre does sell alcohol, some mixed drinks, beer, and food, as in
sandwiches; but we'll kick your butt if you throw any of it at anyone.

Comments: (2/01) This theater has stopped showing Rocky.
Comments: (7/99) Rocky began here mid June 1999. The casts first performance was
July 3, 1999 with members from several old casts in the local area. This Rocky
theater is small, but very cozy. The atmosphere here is excellent because this
theater is located near 3 states where they can draw from a number of areas (It's
in MD, but DE is just seconds away down the street and PA is just hop, skip and
jump away). This makes audience participation fun because of the many new and
different lines. And yes, it really starts at 10:30.

Comments: (3/01) The first show will be March 23, 2001. The management and owner
are completely behind the cast 150%. We couldn't ask for a nicer staff. This is
a former Sony/Loews theater which is now an independent place. We allow all props

Address: 22 Washington
Comments: (7/00) The Grand Theatre has recently been purchased, and the new owner

Comments: Rocky has an unlimited engagement at the beautiful Grand Theater in
downtown Grand Haven MI every other Friday at midnite. The next show is the 13th
of September, 1996. The arthur of this message has been to a performance and they
do a great job, they give you kits and let you basically destroy the movie theater.
It is a building from the 20's so it is a really great place to see the show.

Cast name: The Transducer Players
Comments: (9/00) It is with great sadness that I must announce that this theater
has discontinued with Rocky because (from what I believe) the theater has shut
down
Comments: (5/97) This cast is without a doubt the best in NJ, and well worth the
trip down south to see them. The cast is very strong on proper costumes, make-up,
blocking, etc. The theatre itself is beautiful; they have a raised stage, good
lighting system, put on a good show and incorporate their own talents into live
performances. The crowd is large and Rocky oriented. This is a good example of
what and how a good cast should be.
Comments: (4/97) The theater has gone through some recent renovations. Now they
have 2 balconys (one on each side of the stage) and a nice (large) dressing room
upstairs (including a shower!). The lights are very professional and add a nice
touch of flair to the show. The cast pride themselves on giving the audience not
only a good Rocky show, but a great SHOW. Their innovative dances and choreography
make this a show unlike any other. (This comment by the editor written at the
request of a cast member.)
Comments: One of the oldest casts in the country (15+ years old)... The Transducer
Players are pictured on pages 120-121 of Sal's 15th anniversary book, as well
as pictured on the back cover with the eastside cinema cast.

Comments: (7/02) Some time last year in late summer, the theatre went through
renovations and possibly new ownership. They fired the manager (and not
in a very nice way) and canned the show. I think the group still exists,
but they have not been able to find another theatre willing to host them.

Comments: (1/03) Theater closed and therefore shut down Rocky in January of
2003! Goodbye one of the longest shows of Rocky ever!
Comments: (5/02) The theater is now owned by AMC, and we need to get our numbers
up or we are out. Any and All fans in the area, come see the show. We are
still playing fri and sat at midnight.
Comments: (8/01) Michael Allen, assistant manager at the GCC is looking to get
the word out that he is looking for a group of enthusiastic and dedicated individuals
to perform at his theater. We would love to get the home of the longest
running ROCKY ever back on track. We'll start slow - perhaps regular performances
every other Saturday, hoping to grow with performers and frequency. As
manager and a former player, I miss the scene and invite all who truly love
the experience of ROCKY to contact him and arrange a meeting.
Comments: (4/01) The cast has been disbanded and any one can now perform. People
who have lost theaters across the north east can guest perform, just get in
contact with the Theater for available weekends. Usually they have a loose
grouping of former cast members at the Saturday show to perform, but Friday
tends to be a fan free-for-all.
Comments: (5/96) This cast has been through MANY incarnations and name changes,
but somehow "Sins" stuck. Women and men play all roles! The current cast is
relatively made-up of newcomers and has good potential! They have had members,
who are now retired, with long-standing records (i.e. 10 yrs, 6 yrs, 5 yrs,
etc..) Audience is allowed to bring everything except hot dogs, squirt guns,
and lighters. Cast has a decent amount of props and the costumes vary from night
to night, depending on who is playing. They perform such shows on occasion as
"Rocky Horror Hippie Show", "Rocky 9*(which is performed depending on which
1st of a certain year i.e. 1996, 1997, etc..)", "Pick Your Own Death" (in which
the cast dressed as their chosen characters pick other characters name out of
a hat i.e. Miss X dressed as Janet ends up playing Riff). They are always accepting
applications for new members and retired members are invited to do cameo roles
and guest spots. Overall, they put in a fairly good effort! If you are in the
area, stop by and check it out!! Don't let the price hold you back!!

Comments: (11/05) Just want to inform everyone the show was cancelled. I recieved
a phone call from Chris at the theatre around 3:30 and he said that
apparently 20th century fox is looking for more money than originally agreed upon.
The theatre isnt happy about this so they are trying to negotiate.
Comments: (10/05) There is a new Rocky being shown in the Lehigh Valley every
Saturday night at Midnight… After a few years since Sins Of The Flesh at the Lehigh
Valley Mall’s Cinema was torn down to make way for a Linens & Things a new cast
has risen from the ashes. This cast, The Cheap Little Punks, is made up of a bunch
of former Sins members as well as a good amount of new comers. The first show
was held on October 29th and was a hit with a packed theater. If you are in the
area, check out this show, good things will be coming.

STATE COLLEGE
State Theater
Where: College Ave. (Rt. 26) in State College, PA
Price: $6
Cast name: Vanilla Challice
Comments: Rocky, as far as I know, does not show here anymore.
Comments: The State theater (usually where we perform) currently doesn't have
Rocky but if CinemaWorld (the owners of the State) believes in consistancy Rocky
will be back to Central Pennsylvania in mid-October. The cast is a motley crue
of old actors and new virgins out for a good time... New people are welcome and
travelling members of other casts frequently guest star. The show is (as always)
at midnight Fridays and Saturdays. We expect it to start in mid-Octoberand last
until (cross the fingers) late January.
That's really it but in case you're wondering about our name. A Vanilla Challice
is two shots of Fruit Punch, Pink Lemonade, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mugs rootbeer,
and Mountain Dew. Mix well. The concoction tastes like vanilla and comes from
the cast hanging out at Taco Ball after the show. Guess which drinks the place
has.

yourself to this show. As of this time we are estimating a crowd of 400-500 people,
if you've never seen Rocky with a crowd this size, you'll be in for a treat!!!

of Savannah, GA's cast Pure Anti-Matter. The House of Blues show is not a regular

Comments: (10/01) Cast moves here after leaving the River Oaks after having over
10 years in that theater
River Oaks will always stir fond memories for many of us, but Angelika has everything
it had and more. (like big auditoriums with stadium seating, huge screens, state
of the art sound, plus a cafe bar located in the stylish lobby.) As Crim might
say, 'Thus have they come to the end of one era in Houston, and so shall they
begin another...'

Comments: (11/05) Rocky is back here, go the the active page for details. I'm
leaving the old info on here for archival reasons
Comments: (2/03) As you know we are no longer performing at River Oaks... however
you might not know the story so I am here to fill you in. The Regional management
decided several months ago that they no longer wanted Rocky. The midnight series
had started up and was doing well so they saw no reason to keep on the show. However
the city manager AmyBeth and our manager John fought to keep us. Well this time
when it was brought up there was no room for arguement. The midnight movie series
was doing better than ever and even though our numbers had improved they felt
there was no longer a need for Rocky. So basicly after 12 years of showing the
movie the River Oaks stopped showing Rocky. However, we were extended a privilage
that no other cast had received... they let us have a final show where we were
able to tell the audience what was going on instead of standing outside in the
cold. It was a great last night for Rocky Horror with a large entergetic audience.
So River Oaks DID have a proper send off. Again we want to thank AmyBeth, John,
Roy and all of the team at River Oaks, you treated us with love and respect. We
are going to miss you.
Comments: (12/01) First official show is on January 5, 2002, but the cast is unofficially
playing in the mean time. This is a new approach to rocky in houston with in your
face audience interaction. Rice is NOT allowed.
Comments: (11/01) The Beautiful Creatures cast has been kicked out of the theater
by management. Rocky will still be playing here in the forseeable future though,
and management is hoping that a new cast will form to take their place.
Contrary to what was previously reported, this theater has definitely NOT shut
down or stopped showing the movie though.

Comments: (11/03) The Transylvanian Chinchillas have been exterminated from our
theater. We have been told that the management has decided to not renew the lease
on the building and there will be no further shows of any type at the theater.
Comments: (2/03) This is just a friendly reminder that the Transsexual Chinchillas,
West Virginia's only Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast, will have their next
show at the State Theater in historic downtown Point Pleasant, WV. The show is
on March 1, 2003 and doors open at 10:30 PM. There will be a full preshow, featuring
David M. Driskell from MirrorOfTheSoul.com's world-famous Meat Loaf tribute show,
as well as plenty of Mardi Gras fun and debauchery! Also, if you are in the local
area, you can "listen to win" The River 101.5 Classic Rock to win free tickets
to the show. Tickets are $7.00, and if you prepay ticket, you get $1.00 off your
prop bag, which is normally $2.00. If you are traveling, we have a very nice hotel
just two-blocks away from the theater. Plenty of FREE parking for everyone!!
Comments: (8/02) Our next show is on October 12th. We're planning a kick ass preshow
this time, and depending on how that comes out, the time of the show will vary
between 10:30 to 11:30. The price will be $8. If you come in costume (either as
your favorite RHPS character, or a normal Halloween costume) you will recieve
a $1 discount (which takes to our usual price of $7). We are also planning two
costume contests; RHPS and non-RHPS, with prizes for each. And, of course, we
offer FULL audience participation with prop bags sold at the door (the only things
banned are lunch meats, water pistols, and open flames).
Comments: (2/02) We will be having a one time only (just for right now, hopefully
it'll get bigger) showing of RHPS at Midnight on June 29th. We have a steller
cast assembled for this, with guests from Boston, New Jersey, and even Las Vegas.
It's shaping up to be a hell of a show, so please come out and support us.

EDINBURGH, UNITED KINGDOM
Cast Name: Franks Angels
Comments: Are they still showing? Answer: NO!
Frank's Angels were based in Edinburgh, but they folded for noe reason and
another about four or five years ago; I think Eddies Teddies were round that
way too, but again it was a University cast and they alll graduated and moved
south, so i don't think there's anything going on there now either.
To the best of my knowledge, with Lip Service having retired and the Charming
Underclothes still on hiatus, the Forks are the only cast currently performing
on a regular basis...
WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND
Paramount Theatre
When: Either Fri or Sat at 11:15pm
Price: $8.00 or $6.50
Comments: Generally best to watch the papers to see if it's on. Admission is
$8, or $6.50 if you have a Radio Active Sub Card. The theatre is pretty small,
but any props are allowed except water. There's a fairly large hardcore cast,
but the average age of them is pretty low (~17-19). We're loud, and we're rowdy,
but it's good fun and we love to come up with new AP. The film is somewhat cut,
missing the entire reprise of 'I can Make you a Man' to halfway through the
Narrator's speech, and it jumps in a few places. We've moved from 3 other theatres;
we're running out of options, but we still know how to party.
