Course Description: Forms of art in relation to world culture. A variety of media including sculpture, painting, crafts, and architecture are examined in a cultural context in order to understand the relationship between art and culture.
The syllabus outlines course requirements and objectives.
A major course requirement is to observe and evaluate original art in a local gallery or museum.
