Louise Laurence has been the associate dean in the College of Business and Economics at Towson University since 2003 and a member of the faculty since 1987. Dr. Laurence received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland College Park and has taught courses such as personnel economics, economic issues of gender, macroeconomic theory, public finance and mathematical economics. In addition, she was a Fulbright lecturer at the New Bulgarian University and Sofia University in Sofia, Bulgaria. As the chief operating officer of the College, Dr. Laurence manages the day-to-day affairs of the college of more than 100 full-time and part-time faculty, and 19 staff members.
