About Us

Why is a National Center useful?

  • Past curriculum change projects have produced many important resources and represent much valuable experience
  • Faculty and project directors interested in curriculum change may not know of these resources or how to access them
  • Provides materials and information for helping faculty and administrators carry out curriculum change directed toward incorporating scholarship and research on women
What does the National Center do?
With the assistance of a National Committee of Curriculum Consultants and a group of Consulting Scholars in specific disciplines, the National Center produces directories, manuals, and essays useful in curriculum transformation. It also maintains comprehensive information on resources available throughout the United States. Information and publications are regularly updated to reflect the continually evolving scholarship on women and the development of curriculum transformation work.
