The Affiliates Program at NCCTRW is designed to develop a member-based program offering resources on curriculum transformation.  Membership services include:

• FREE COPIES – For joining the program, members will automatically receive:
  • Free copies of Curriculum Transformation Projects in the United States and Getting Started:  Planning Curriculum
  • $25.00 in free publications for individual memberships, and $45.00 in free publications for institutional memberships.
• 20% DISCOUNT ON ALL CENTER PUBLICATIONS – a description of our publications can be found on our website at www.towson.edu/ncctrw/publications.
• ON-LINE WORKSHOP DISCOUNTS – Members who participate in online workshops will be given a 10% discount.  The first, Building an Inclusive Curriculum: Race, Class, Gender and Sexuality, is currently under development.
• PREFERENTIAL ADMISSION – Members will be given first consideration for enrollment in all international workshops and institutes.  To date, two summer institutes have taken place (2000 and 2001 - both in Barbados).  The next summer institute is scheduled to be held at Towson University, June 3-7, 2002, titled Power, Difference and Identity:  The Local and the Global.  
• ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER – The electronic newsletter includes information about conferences, calls for papers, employment opportunities, world events and special reports on selected topics (e.g., The Status of Women in Higher Education, Occupational Sex Segregation, Domestic Violence, Curriculum Transformation Efforts, Classroom Pedagogy).
