  • to assist faculty in integrating comparative perspectives on gender and ethnicity into their courses and educational curricula
  • to cultivate discussion of international issues and assist faculty in internationalizing their courses and scholarship
  • to explore pedagogical issues related to internationalizing and engendering courses and educational curricula
  •   to foster dialogue and share resources and knowledge on gender and other issues of diversity across cultures and geographic regions
  •   to facilitate the creation of networks for collaborative scholarship and the exchange of faculty and students among institutions of higher education in the United States, Turkey and the Middle East
