ABI/Inform  
An index to articles in business and management publications in such areas as marketing, human resources, technology, etc

Academic Search
Multidisciplinary; abstracts many of the research journals in communications, some full text.

ComAbstracts 
Contains abstracts of articles published in the primary professional literature of communications.  

Communication and Mass Media Complete (search for this database from the "Database by Name")
Communication & Mass Media Complete provides the most robust, quality research solution in areas related to communication and mass media. This database resulted from the merging of two popular databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies -- CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association (NCA)), and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Pennsylvania State University).   (from EBSCO site)

Humanities Abstracts

Includes interpersonal behavior and communication, sociolinguistics, and nonverbal communication. 1985 - present.

PsychINFO
   
Contains journal citations and abstracts in psychology and related disciplines. 

PsycARTICLES   
An online database covering general psychology and specialized basic, applied, clinical, and theoretical research in psychology. Over 25,000 full-text articles are available! 

Sociological Abstracts   
An abstracted index to materials on sociology, cultural anthropology,, social work, social psychology, demography, gerontology, family studies, ethnic, and minority issues. 

Web of Science  
This is a citation index - uses references from  published papers to find more recent (and retrospective) work done on the same topic. The database is searchable by subject, author, and title; the database indexes over 8,000 journals in the social sciences, arts and humanities, and sciences.

Citation Style

The library has a citing sources page that will help you with formulating citations according to the style your instructor specifies. If a particular style is not specified, just be consistent!
