More than 100 descriptions of ethnic and national groups in Europe. Each entry provides a summary of a group, an account of origins and early history, cultural life, recent developments, and is accompanied by a list of further reading.
 


Ethnic Groups of South Asia and the Pacific: An Encyclopedia .  2012

Each entry includes : the name and alternative names of the group; the major population areas and other areas with large representative populations; estimated populations; a brief sketch of the group’s linguistic and religious affiliations; and the history before the nineteenth century, the group’s cultural traits, and its history from the nineteenth century to the present. Each article is accompanied by a short bibliography.

Freedom in the World, an annual comparative assessment of the state of political rights and civil liberties in 192 countries and 17 related and disputed territories.  Table of contents of the report is on the sidebar at the top right.

Nations in Transit, an annual comparative assessment focusing on 27 former Communist states.  Table of contents is on the sidebar at the top right.
