Nongovernmental organization that campaigns for human rights worldwide.  This site consists of news, feature articles, press releases, and documents. Annual reports include updated status of human rights in individual countries.

An independent, nongovernmental organization that is "dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world."

Publishes reports that can be accessed by country or by issue including arms, children's rights, HIV/AIDS, international justice, prisons, refugees, women's rights, and UN.



International Commission of Jurists

Focuses on the "objective promotion of human rights through the rule of law." Publications can be searched by theme and country. Themes include disappearances, economic, social & cultural rights, gender issues, impunity & reparations, military tribunals, terrorism and torture.



United Nations Human Rights
