Web Page Assignment

In this assignment you will demonstrate your expertise in creating a web document. You will be summarizing the information presented in one of the chapters in the "Interface Culture: How New Technology Transforms the Way We Create and Communicate" book. Essentially, you need to summarize the main points of the chapter and critically analyze the information. Your page must contain at minimum (in addition to your analysis):

A title and an identification of yourself as the author

One image that relates to what you are saying

A link to another web site
-
An e-mail link to yourself
Please consider the following issues

The design principles discussed in class

Feel free to use any "bells and whistles" that you feel are appropriate

If this is your first page, I suggest that you start small and then add technological enhancements slowly

Try to have fun and be creative

You can use any web editor or visual editor that you have access to (However, PowerPoint web files will not be accepted)

Be sure to view your page on a variety of computers and with different browsers

Once your are finished with your page, post it to the web and e-mail me the URL.
Your assignment is due November 16th (I strongly suggest that you turn it in earlier if your final project is a web site). Please note that technological problems (crashed computer, corrupted floppy disk, etc...) are NOT excuses for late assignments.
